At Western Michigan University, I conducted comprehensive GIS mapping of campus stormwater infrastructure and underground utilities. This work involved digitizing legacy records, collecting GPS field data, and building detailed geodatabases of storm drains, sewer lines, water mains, and other utility assets. The resulting maps supported facilities management, improved emergency response planning, and informed capital improvement projects. By bringing decades of scattered data into a modern GIS, I helped the university make more efficient, data-driven decisions about infrastructure maintenance and long-term planning.
